In the fall of 1977 the Northside
Christian Fellowship (NCF) began as a Sunday School in a rural 2-room brick
school house north of Sandpoint, Idaho, with 27 attending. In 1986, we started
building our new church and everyone (men, women, and children) pitched in to
help build our 2-story facility located on Colburn-Culver Road. The building has
a large meeting room on the second floor, with classrooms and library on the
first floor.
Attendance varies from 100 to 125. Sunday
mornings begin with Sunday School classes for all ages that meet from 9:15am
until 10:30am. The worship service commences at 10:45am and continues until
about noon. During the worship service, everyone participates in the singing and
the prayer & praise time. Then, before the morning's message begins, children
ages 4 & 5 are excused to "Kids Church," while ages 6-12 may attend "Junior
Church." There is a nursery provided for children younger than 4 years old,
during both the Sunday School hour and the worship service.
Our church body extends a warm welcome to
new-comers--whether our guests are here visiting on vacation, or are looking for
a permanent church home. We encourage you to attend in whatever attire you are
comfortable. Suits and ties are as welcome as jeans and t-shirts. We sing a
variety of music--from traditional hymns to the contemporary praises. Our music
team frequently blesses us with their God-given talents.
We have weekly Bible studies, Youth Group,
and many wonderful activities and events throughout the year. To learn more,
